Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Do you take reservations? No- seating is first come, first served. If there is a wait, feel free to get a drink at the bar until your party is called!

  2. Are you pet-friendly? While we love our pets, the existing Michigan law prohibits dogs from patios where restaurant staff are actively serving food. We serve food on the patio so therefore we cannot allow dogs or other pets unless they are a service animal. BUT - if you’re really craving our awesome food paired craft beer - feel free to place a to-go order with the host and then take it with you to Harborlight Brewery in South Haven. They don’t serve food so they are pet-friendly! And they encourage their guests to bring in food from other restaurants!

  3. Are you kid-friendly? Yes! We have a kids menu, high chairs, boosters, and infant seat cradles available. Two of the Three Blondes each have three young kids, so it was important to us to be a place where you can take the whole fam!

  4. Do you serve liquor? No, we have our small beer and winemakers licenses so we cannot sell liquor. We’ve got 15 beers on tap that we brew right here at 3BB and one cider. We also have a white and red wine option.

  5. Do you have parking? Yes! We’ve got a parking lot out front and we can take over our neighbor’s parking lot (VanDerZee Motorplex) once they close (which is at 6pm on weekdays, 3pm on Saturdays, and they are closed all day Sunday). We also have a service drive behind us called Dewey Lane with parallel parking available, as well as parking in the cul-de-sac at the end of the lane.

  6. How do you get there? Our address is 1875 Phoenix Street, South Haven, MI 49090. We are just east of Sherman Dairy on the same side of the street and we are attached to the VanDerZee Motorplex. If you’re coming from I-196, we’re a half mile east of Exit 20. If you’re coming from the north on I-196 in the summer, let me tell you a little secret. Turning left onto Phoenix (Exit 20) can be a nightmare. An easier way is to take Exit 22 (North Shore Drive), turn left onto North Shore, right at the “T,” left at the next “T”, right on 71st 1/2, then right on Phoenix and you’ll see us on the corner! I know, it’s sounds lengthy but it’s waaay better than trying to turn left onto Phoenix in my opinion. :) Here’s the link to a visual.

  7. Do you have a space for private events? Yes, we have a mezzanine area called “The Library” that can seat up to 42 people. Rental rates and purchase minimums vary depending on the season. Please email for more information on hosting your event at 3BB!
